My New Years Eve Outfit really mimics my home decor and party favor theme from our night in with friends and family. Since having a kid we just enjoy being with him during the special moments and holidays. They are times that are irreplaceable and I would just rather kick it with him.

I found this easy and comfortable long sleeve at Dillard’s before Christmas and it was honestly too fun not to get. (Plus it reminds me of my awesome mom b/c she almost despises the holidays… actually she does but she was an amazing sport this year). The back actually has a split design that added a little extra sumthin’ special to an already fun top. I threw this together with a striped skirt I got from there not long ago too. I love these Gianni Bini skirts that are easy to dress up or down. I wore it during the holidays with leggings and decided to throw it on for my New Years Eve Outfit too! I paired a belt with silver plating and my beloved Jimmy Choo holographic pumps for the added flair. I know so many people are scared to mix prints but black and white makes it so easy to pair multiple prints together. You can literally almost do no wrong! These stripes worked especially since they are running horizontally on both garments and there is enough of a size difference in both that they stand alone while working cohesively. If they were too close to the same size it could have ruined the look. I felt like the stripes kept it fun and interesting while the black and white still kept my New Years Eve Outfit classy and timeless.

I kept Theo’s look simple and neutral as well with this henley buffalo check shirt from Gap (also available in red) with an old Peek Kids zip up cardigan that is gray and black layered over top for warmth and sophistication for my dapper guy. I feel lucky that this kid one lets me drag him along for my shoots sometimes and TWO that he will keep his accessories on like hats! I feel so lucky since I’m such an accessory snob! LoL. And for shoes b/c he’s a kid and a boy it’s so easy to get away with throwing on Jordans to complete his looks. My little guy will never go out of style for me! Cheers to a new year and new fashionable finds!
