Who can resist a feminine floral print, especially when it’s in a polished silhouette that reads grown up not girly!?! There are so many chic floral print spring dresses out there right now and with wedding season right around the corner it’s the perfect excuse to stock up! Everyone is always wondering what to wear at a wedding, but it’s really quite easy, especially in the spring. On top of there being a vast array of floral frocks to choose, and like a beautiful bouquet all their own, there are so many amazingly stylish silhouettes to choose. I’m personally loving the nods to the 1940’s and 1950’s with the fuller skirts and off the shoulder elements lately. They are elegant and classy silhouettes that create just enough sex appeal while being fun and flirty.
Speaking of sex appeal, aren’t we all pretty much a sucker for a great body-conscious, tushy-hugging dress that accentuates all our great womanly curves. For me, I personally prefer high neck dresses that help accentuate your body and create that lengthening visual appeal such as the one I wore here. To keep your floral print dress feeling mature instead of overly girly (or slightly dare we say scandalous for wedding attire), choose a length that falls just above or below the knee. In doing so you’ll extend the life of your floral print spring dress because you can wear it for other occasions such as work, church, or business meetings. Simply add a structured blazer or a slim cardigan and you can even belt it with a thin belt accentuating the smallest point of your waist. To make your body-con pencil dress a little more casual pair it with some great flat sandals and a button up denim shirt either hanging loose or tied in a simple knot. I’ve added some of my current best bud floral print dresses for your next upcoming occasion! Let me know what you think, xo!
